Job Description:  Design, implement and maintain Java application within all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Assist in designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and supporting application.  Solid organizational skills, attention to detail with excellent analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting ability. Maintain and comply with privacy and security requirements as required by business solutions and industry standards.

 

Requirements: Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related experience.  Java, XML, HTML, CSS.  Database Mysql, User Interface Design knowledge, Network Security,. Additional knowledge of JavaScript, JQuery, Linux Server administration, shell scripting, web services and EDI desirable.

Member Services Advisor

 

Job Description:  Provide technical assistance to our customers (members) using our benefits technology software. Answer questions or resolve issues for customer via phone, email and online demos. Document customer issues accurately and in detail in order to build a searchable, knowledge-based support system. Maintain strong service relationships with members. Inform and educate existing customers about products and services. Proactively deliver ongoing guidance and thoughtful recommendation to customers.

Design and conduct customer training and development programs to improve our existing customers’ utilization of our application and initiate training for new customers. Provide training assistance via online live demos. Assist customers with enrollment and renewals as needed.  May analyze training needs of existing and new customers. May assist with onsite training at client locations. May participate in our product development process by providing thoughtful and well-organized feedback.

 

Expectations: Must be a team player, enthusiastic learner, positive attitude, self-motivated, enjoys investigating issues and being a problem-solver, excellent verbal and written communication skills (clear and effective communicator), professional demeanor, warm and friendly personality, needs little supervision, ability to be self-organized with effective time management skills.

 

Qualifications/Experience Required: Bachelor’s Degree or Work Experience Equivalent.  Proven knowledge of compensation and benefits administration for small and/or large groups. Experience in the health insurance or health care industry. Experience working with an insurance agent/broker, carrier, third-party administrator and/or payroll company.  Direct customer service and/or training experience. Experience with electronic databases, and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all types of individuals. Ability to learn quickly and follow through with tasks accurately and in a timely manner.

 

Bonus Experience: Plan, direct, coordinate or conduct programs of compensation and benefits activities of an organization. Proven knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Outlook. Proven ability to achieve results and thrive in a dynamic environment (startup or emerging growth company). Familiarity with COBRA and ancillary insurance products and/or individual insurance products.

 

Compensation: $20-25/hour. Dependent on Qualifications. Benefits: Dependent on Qualifications.

Hours: Monday-Friday. Flexible day-time hours. 25-30 hours/week with full-time potential, if desired. Partial work-from-home potential based on proven track record.
